Tim feels that they were afforded and incredible opportunity to travel all over the country to play softball. He would like to thank all the sponsors that made it possible for them to play the game they loved. Sponsors like Alan Brien, Alan Walker, Jim Consiglio and Brian Cipolla were extremely generous. “I’m not sure players realize how lucky they are to have great sponsorships. It takes a great burden off the players and it enables them to concentrate on the game.

“I love softball and I always have. The USSSA provided my teams with the very best style of play and the best umpires. All of the players wanted to win the USSSA championship in the worst way. As a younger player making the transformation from baseball, the 3-10 arc was an easier adjustment. The speed in which the game was played make the fielders stay sharp in between pitches. I just really loved the game and loved my teammates. We gave it everything we had every time we stepped on the field.”
