Ryan’s most exciting times are being able to follow all national guidelines in regards to players and classifications culminating when 2 New Hampshire teams playing in the finals of the 2016 Men’s E Worlds, along with producing a national champion in the Mixed E Worlds as well. Two national championships in one year from one state had never been done.

Ryan feels that New Hampshire may not have the highest registration when comparing USSSA enrollment nationally. He is confident that his hard work creates fair and balanced USSSA teams for all his leagues and tournaments. He feels there is a wide range of abilities and skill levels in New Hampshire and he works hard to approach each league dynamic individually. He hopes that his success as a director will be measured on the quality of NH teams that have competed at the highest levels at local, Regional, National and World Tournament venues.

Ryan also partners with the planning and promoting of charity tournaments to benefit causes for Cancer Awareness, Make a Wish Foundation, Fallen Officers, Wounded Warriors and other worthy causes that bring the community of softball together.

Ryan believes that USSSA softball has given him a platform to continue to participate in a game that he loves. Additionally, the responsibilities of his position have helped him to grow and develop the sport of adult softball throughout the entire New England area.

“My directorship has provided me with experiences, friendships, and memories that have truly helped to better define and improve my leadership skills for this sport and for this organization. As the game evolves, both the equipment and the level of the sport must be maintained.”
