Robert Lapinsky

Bob LaPinsky has been umpiring in USSSA softball for 26 years and counting! He has attended an amazing 25 consecutive National Umpire Clinics.

Bob has served as Metro-West UIC for 3 years and the Worcester UIC for 3 years. He has also served on the Metro-West Board of Directors for 3 years and Worcester Board of Directors for 5 years. He assisted in rewriting the Metro-West and Worcester Bylaws.
Bob has been participating in the Special Olympics program where he has done the assigning of umpires for the last 4 years and served as the UIC for the last 2 years. Bob’s most exciting times in USSSA Softball have come while working the Special Olympics held at Fenway Park.
