  • 2015 Women's D World Tournament All Tournament Team

Paula lists her most exciting event as being in 2015 when her team finished 3rd at the Women’s D World Tournament. They started off playing without a couple great players that due to their work schedules had to take late flights. The team started off winning and kept on winning until they were knocked out by a team from Virginia. It was a big win for the team coming from Rhode Island where there is a much shorter playing season here than other regions.

“The game of slow pitch softball is a passion of mine. I have played many other sports but if I had to pick just one to play, it would be softball. You can be any age to play the game and as long as you can stay healthy you can play for many years, which I hope to do. The USSSA organization has made it possible for me to travel to many other states to play good competition. We are very lucky to have such an organized organization.”
