Paul Garcia

Umpire  - Presented by Donyell Garcia

Paul “Paully” Garcia has been involved with USSSA softball for over 20 years, and has been an umpire in the Connecticut USSSA program for over 14 years. Paul has served as USSSA Area Director since 2010. He has been Vernon UIC since 2004.

Paul has attended Umpire Clinics in Rochester, NY; East Harford, CT and Warwick, RI. He also has been holding Umpire Clinics since 2004 in addi-tion to assigning umpires for Vernon, Newington, Bloomfield, Stafford and Enfield CT (approximately 100 teams). “USSSA softball is headed in the right direction by forcing teams up and allowing the lower divisions to be used in the appropriate manner. If there’s one thing that I would like to see throughout softball is more bat testing and harsher penalties for those individuals who get caught using altered equipment.”
