Lori describes her greatest softball thrill:
“I’d have to say with Ruffstone, when we used to go to the tournaments there were 50 or 60 teams in the World tournaments. To be a part of something so big and exciting was amazing. For example we used to watch Empress Chili and the pitcher on that team, who was older than all of us, she was incredible. It just gave me a thrill! I was just a kid and was in this new world of softball, it was like I went to heaven! And it was more than just the softball, it was the friendships, the all female competition, the environment, the fun….it was all of that and more to me. It still is!” - Lori Palagi
