20109 New England USSSA Hall of Fame Team of Distinction 

Farrell’s Women’s Softball Team played tournament and league softball from 1986 to 1994. Over the years they compiled a 146-38 record in league play winning the regular season Championship 5 times and the Playoff Championship 3 times. 


In tournament play, their record was 227-114. In the 73 tournaments they entered, they took 1st place 25 times, 2nd place 8 times and 3rd place 8 times. 


Remarkably, there are 8 members of Farrell’s that have been inducted into the USSSA Hall of Fame. The members are players Karen Berube, Mari Ingram, Donna Konuch, Donna Marrier, Kathy Pinto, Jackie Shea, Lori Taddeo and manager Keith Flanagan. 


Farrell’s was also honored with 2 team sportsmanship awards. The first was in the 1990 B’s on Labor Day in Rochester, NY and the second was in the 1993 A’s on Labor Day in Rockford, Illinois​

 

Steve's Sports

Steve’s Sports came onto the USSSA scene back in 1994 and is one of the few teams in New England that has played in the World Series in three different divisions. They qualified for the USSSA “D” World Tournament in 1994. 


In 1999 they won the Men’s “D” World Championship held in Salem, Oregon. 
 
Over the years, they have moved up in the USSSA divisions. In 2003 Steve’s Sports played in the “B” World Series in Orlando, FL. They once again found themselves in the World Series in Orlando, FL in 2007 this time in the “C” division after qualifying by winning the Connecticut 
“C” NIT. 


Steve’s Sports is still currently playing in the Men’s “C” Division.
