James Allen

James’ extensive background as a director of USSSA softball ranges from 1988-2005 where, over the time, he has served as the NH Women’s State Director, NH Mixed State Director and NH Slow-Pitch State Director. In total, he has 18 years experience in the director’s role. 


James accomplished many milestones during his career as director. As the NH Women’s State Director he hosted the first ever Women’s NIT and State tournament events in NH. He also established the first Corporate Women’s program in the state. These are but a few of his many accomplishments. 
 
Overall, James has 20 years of participating in USSSA sanctioned events. 


As a player, he was named to the All Tournament team 5 times, tournament MVP once. He has also participated in 8 straight mixed ‘D’ world events from 1995-2002 as a player and/or coach. 


As a director, James’ awards and acknowledgments include:
National Mixed Director of the year, 1999, 2001

Award of Merit from National Church Director, 2002

Elected Chairperson for the National Mixed Committee, National Convention, 1999, 2000
Co-Director Mixed ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ World Tournament at Disney’s Wide World of Sports 2004 and fall 2006
Co-Director Mixed ‘D’ World Tournament at Disney’s Wide World of Sports 2005 


His experience as director: 88-94 Women’s NH State Director, 95-98 Mixed NH State Director, 99-02 Slow-Pitch NH State Director and 02-05 Mixed NH State Director. As State Director, James attended the National Convention every year, clearly he takes his responsibilities very seriously. His career objective:
