Murf’s most amusing event happened in 2000 while playing for National Gold in the B World Tournament. His team finished 5th despite torrential rain throughout the entire tournament. They had lots of weird plays and falls, but he describes it as definitely the most fun of all time.

Murf’s greatest thrill was competing in the 2000 B Worlds, the 2008 C Nationals and tying for 9th at the 2008 C Worlds.

“I have been fortunate enough to participate in the highest levels of USSSA classifications which has allowed me to become friendly and acknowledged by the best players NE had to offer and that is a special feeling.”
