“One of the most exciting projects that I was involved with was working with Gary Slickman and Chuck Schoolcraft while producing the first USSSA training video. Having Massachusetts umpires being used to demonstrate umpiring technique to the country is a very humbling thing.”

“The game has changed dramatically in the 18 years that I have been involved. When I began, participation was very high and teams measured success by how well they did on Labor Day. Today, so much emphasis is placed on World Series participation and winning, that some of the camaraderie that once existed has been lost. The good news is that younger players and teams seem to be emerging and we have an opportunity to revitalize the sport.”
