Curt Snow

Curt began his softball career in 1969 in Palmer at the old Sanderson/MacLeod field. He started playing tournament ball the following season. He has played on State Championship teams throughtout the 70's, 80's and 90's. 


The season started at the end of April and continued thru October. A typical season consisted of between 150 to 200 games including many area leagues and tournaments most weekends. 


Curt started coaching and sponsoring softball in 1988. He feels fortunate to have been a part of USSSA Softball since it started in Western Mass some time in the early 80’s. 


Some of Curt’s highlights include an MVP award at the States with Savoy Manufacturing in 1985, being ranked #1 in New England in 1995, an "all-star" playing against the Steele's Hitmen during their undefeated run (New Jersey Regional Labor day) and playing against the incomparable Eddie Feignor on 2 occasions-Palmer around '78 and Seabrook N.H. in 1985. 


Curt has been playing in the Masters Program since 1983 (they allowed 1 under age player at the time) and has been to the Masters World Series every year since '85 and now plays in the 40+ division. 


He has played over 5000 games, more than 20,000 at bats and carries a better than .600 batting average. He has played in 41 States, including Hawaii, and has not missed a State or Regional Tourney.


Curt has been umpiring since '84 and The Mass Masters Director since '99. He has played in the "Mid-nite Marathon," Cracker ball, Sno-ball, Turkey Shoot, and Christmas tree Tournaments along the way!!​
