Marching into Disney Stadium with her team for their first World Tournament and seeing teams from all over the country lined up along the sideline was Brenda’s most exciting career memory. She considered playing in the USSSA Program to be her greatest experience because it was the most fair and best run program in softball. She has met players, umpires, directors and coaches from all over the country. In the 40 plus years Brenda has been playing she has far too many memories to list or even remember. However, because of softball, she now has large a group of friends.

“I would like to give a shout out to my mother for getting me involved. She was an original Pepsi softball player. From the time I was very young my mother played women’s softball. I still have contact with some of her former teammates. Hanging out at the fields, I saw firsthand how friendships formed. I have instilled a lot of what I’ve learned in my daughter, who has made friends through my softball friends. Awesome to see it follow generations!”
