Artie, as we call him in the softball community, has been married for 37 years to his lovely wife Terry.
His umpiring career started 32 years ago with ASA,the last 25 years have been with USSSA. 


Artie was a softball player during the Vietnam area from 1967-1970, when cork softballs and wooden bats were the only equipment invented, much less legal. 


 He has spent his entire life in Nashua, NH, and still resides there. Artie was one of the original “six” that came to USSSA in the early 70’s and is one of only two umpires with over 25 years experience in the state. 


His highlights include: 

Two national tournaments in Maryland and Massachusetts

Over 20 State Tournaments
Over a Dozen NIT’s

A total in excess of 200 sanctioned events, spanning 25 years

League scheduler for over 12 years, covering 16 leagues
